Annual Pest Inspection Sydney

The best protection against termites and pests is not luck, it is a regular check-up. An annual pest inspection keeps a close eye on your home year after year, catching problems while they are still small.

The Value

How Annual Inspections Save You Money

It sounds back to front, but spending a little on an inspection every year is one of the cheapest things you can do for your home. The reason is simple: termites cause more damage to Australian homes than fire, storm and flood combined, that damage is not covered by standard insurance, and the longer it goes unnoticed, the more it costs to repair.

A small termite problem caught early might mean a straightforward treatment. The same problem left for a few years can mean replacing structural timber, walls and floors, running into many thousands of dollars. An annual inspection is what stands between those two outcomes. You are paying a small, predictable amount each year to avoid a large, unpredictable bill later.

It is the same logic as servicing your car or seeing the dentist. Regular, low-cost attention prevents the expensive emergencies, and gives you genuine peace of mind in between.

Every home benefits, but some especially so. Older timber-framed houses, homes with established gardens and mature trees, properties near bushland or water, and any home with a history of termites all carry a higher risk and are well worth checking every year. Homes that have recently been renovated are worth keeping an eye on too, since building work can disturb the soil and timber that termites rely on. If your property fits any of these, an annual inspection moves from a good idea to a genuinely important one.

Each Year

What Is Checked Each Year

An annual inspection is a full timber pest inspection carried out to Australian Standard AS 4349.3, repeated each year so we can see how your home is tracking over time. Working through the whole property, we check:

  • Interior rooms, walls and ceilings
  • Roof void where accessible
  • Subfloor and foundations where accessible
  • Exterior walls and eaves
  • Fences, decking and outbuildings
  • Garden timbers, trees and stumps
  • Moisture levels in risk areas
  • Conditions that attract termites

Because we inspect year after year, we can spot changes early, a new moisture problem, fresh workings, or a condition that has crept in since last time. You receive a written report each year, with thermal imaging and moisture readings used to find evidence without cutting into anything.

No Need to Remember

Our Reminder Service

We Will Remind You

The hardest part of an annual inspection is remembering to book it. So we take that off your plate. When you have your inspection with us, we keep a note of when the next one is due and get in touch to remind you, so a year does not quietly slip into three. There is no obligation, just a friendly nudge at the right time so your protection never lapses.

Even Better Together

Pair It With a Treatment Plan

An inspection tells you what is happening. A treatment plan does something about it. Put the two together and you have proper, ongoing protection: a yearly inspection to catch anything new, alongside regular treatments that keep general pests like cockroaches, ants, spiders and rodents at bay all year round.

Many of our customers bundle their annual inspection with an annual pest plan, which is the most complete way to look after a home and often works out better value than booking everything separately. If you would like the inspection on its own, our timber pest inspection page explains exactly what that involves.

Please note: Inspections are visual and limited to safely accessible areas under AS 4349.3, and the report sets out any access limitations. Annual inspection is general guidance and high-risk homes may need checking more often. Pricing and turnaround are confirmed when you book.
