Sealing and Exclusion After Treatment
Clearing the void is only worthwhile if nothing can move straight back in. Once the space is empty, we seal the gaps that gave pests access, such as broken or lifted tiles, gaps under the eaves, open vents and spaces around pipes and cabling.
For possums, which are protected, we use humane exclusion rather than removal, letting them leave through a one-way exit before sealing so none are trapped inside. For rodents and birds, we close the entry routes with durable materials and mesh that hold up over time.
This sealing step is what separates a real fix from a temporary one. Plenty of people clear a roof void only to find something new has moved into the same warm, sheltered space within weeks, because the open door was left open. Closing those gaps is the part that makes the result last.

Insulation Damage Assessment

Droppings and urine soak in and contaminate it, while possums and rodents flatten, shred and nest in it, which reduces how well it works. We assess the state of your insulation and let you know if sections need replacing. Just as importantly, rodents gnaw on electrical wiring, which is a genuine fire risk, so if we see chewed cabling we will flag it and recommend you have a licensed electrician check it.
